Air Quality Enterprise Board

The Air Quality Enterprise Board collects fees from stationary sources to support a variety of services that inform fee payer operations and to facilitate dialogue between fee payers and the community. The enterprise, through  the  department  and  contractors, funds science-based, unbiased air quality modeling, monitoring, assessment, data analysis, and research, and provides emission mitigation services when sought by fee payers.

effective January 1, 2021 for terms expiring January 1, 2023:

  • David Stewart of Windsor, Colorado, to serve as a fee payer with expertise in environmental management, appointed; 
  • Garvin A. Heath, Ph.D., of Boulder, Colorado, to serve as a member of the air quality research community, appointed;

  • Gerald Arnold of Englewood, Colorado, to serve as a current member of the Air Quality Control Commission, appointed; 
  • Michael Ogletree of Thornton, Colorado, to serve as a current member of the Air Quality Control Commission, appointed; 
  • Jennifer McCurdy Chinea of Thornton, Colorado, to serve as a fee payer with expertise in engineering, appointed; 
  • Richard Lawrence of Lafayette, Colorado, to serve as a representative from the private sector with expertise in business management, appointed;
  • Amanda Brimmer of Broomfield, Colorado, to serve as a member of the air quality research community with expertise in air quality monitoring and modeling, appointed; 
  • Daniel Zimmerle of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as a member of the air quality research community with expertise in air quality monitoring and modeling, appointed; 
  • Silpa Krefft, MD, MPH, of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a member of the air quality research community, who is also an expert in the environmental effects of air pollutants, and an occupational pulmonologist, appointed. 

Colorado Dental Board

The Colorado Dental Board makes rules and regulations, examines and licenses dentists and dental hygienists, and conducts hearings regarding the suspension or revocation of licenses.

effective January 1, 2021 for terms expiring January 1, 2025:

  • Mark William Adams, DDS, MS of Castle Rock, Colorado, to serve as a professional dentist, reappointed; 
  • Rominder Kaur, DDS of Fort Morgan, Colorado, to serve as a professional dentist, reappointed; 
  • Yanira A. Owens, RDH of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as a dental hygienist professional, reappointed; 
  • Kaylanne Chandler, BSN, RN of Denver, Colorado, to serve as an at-large public member, appointed;

  • Angela Rhoades, RDH of Thornton, Colorado, to serve as a dental hygienist professional, appointed.

State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education

The Board is the governing body for the state community college system and the coordinating board for local district colleges.  It also coordinates the activities of area vocational schools.

  • Catherine J. Shull of Fort Morgan, Colorado, an Unaffiliated and a resident of the Fourth Congressional District, occasioned by the resignation of Hanna Skandera of Denver, Colorado, appointed;

eHealth Commission

The eHealth Commission shall support the implementation of the state's Health IT strategy and interoperability objectives by setting goals for Health IT programs and creating a process for developing common policies and technical solutions.

effective February 1, 2021 for a term expiring February 1, 2024: 

  • Arthur Davidson, M.D. of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of primary health care providers, reappointed; 
  • Wesley Morgan Williams, PhD of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of behavioral health, reappointed; 
  • Kaakpema Yelpaala of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative with expertise in interoperability and data exchange, appointed;
  • Mona Baset of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of health care facilities, appointed; 
  • Annie Harrington of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative with expertise in operability and data exchange, and as a non voting ex-officio member, appointed;

Employee Ownership Commission

The Commission supports the development and advancement of employee owned businesses by creating technical support, educating businesses and communities on the economic and community benefits of employee-owned businesses.

Judicial District Nominating Commissions

There is a judicial district nominating commission for each of Colorado’s 22 judicial districts that selects nominees for district and county judicial vacancies. Each district nominating commission is chaired by a justice of the Supreme Court, who is a non-voting member of the commission.

Nurse-Physician Advisory Task Force for Colorado Healthcare (NPATCH)

Senate Bill 09-239 created the Nurse-Physician Advisory Task Force for Colorado Health Care (NPATCH).  The board, which is housed within the Division of Registrations in the Department of Regulatory Agencies, was established to promote public safety and improve health care in Colorado by supporting collaboration and communication between the practices of nursing and medicine.

  • Robin A. Bruce, RN, BSN of Aurora, Colorado to serve as a member of the nursing community who may or may not be a member of a statewide professional nursing organization, occasioned by the resignation of Laura Ann Thomas, DNP, MSN, BSN of Aurora, Colorado, appointed.

Wine Industry Development Board

The Board encourages and promotes viticultural and enological research and experimentation for the maximum production and quality of wine produced in the State of Colorado.  This includes the marketing of wines produced in Colorado and as an asset to the state’s tourism program.
