DENVER — Today, Governor Polis signed HB23-1005, New Energy Improvement Program Changes, sponsored by Representatives Jenny Willford and Brianna Titone and Senators Sonya Jaquez Lewis and Janice Marchman. This law expands the New Energy Improvement Program eligible building upgrades to include funding for commercial building owners to make energy saving, water-saving, or resiliency improvements over extended payments to save them money.
HB23-1005 is part of a comprehensive package Governor Polis and legislative partners announced today, working to save people money on energy, cut red tape to accelerate clean energy transitions, and ensure that Colorado continues to be a national leader.
