DENVER - Governor Polis, in coordination with the Denver Mayor's Office, the State Department, and the Biennial of the Americas welcomes subnational leaders from across the Western Hemisphere to the Inaugural Cities Summit of the Americas. Running parallel to the Cities Summit, Coloradans are encouraged to attend the highly anticipated Fábrica de Arte Américas, hosted by the Biennial of the Americas.
“We welcome the Cities Summit of the Americas to Colorado and look forward to celebrating arts and culture at the Fábrica de Arte Américas. The opportunity to strengthen partnerships, find new ways to support each other and our economic ties are critical to our future,” said Governor Polis.
The Inaugural Cities Summit was announced by President Biden last June at the State Department’s 9th Summit of the Americas. Additionally, last year the Governor joined the Biennial of the Americas in Mexico City where he met government and community leaders to exchange culture and ideas and discuss shared economic industries.
