DENVER - Today, Governor Polis celebrated the announcement that the Denver Metro Area is the top job market in the nation, according to a study released from ADP. Out of the 55 other metro areas included in the study, Denver Metro leads the nation in pay growth, starting wages, and hiring rate.
“It’s no secret that Colorado is the best place to live, work, and start a business, and this study is yet more proof that we are a model for the nation. Our administration has taken important steps to strengthen our already robust workforce by expanding job and training opportunities, fighting to lower housing costs, cutting taxes, and creating a strong business and entrepreneurial climate, and I’m excited that the Denver metro area is now the hottest job market in the country” said Governor Polis.
In Colorado, Governor Polis is focused on making Colorado the best place to work, grow a business, and raise a family through expanding housing that Coloradans and the workforce can afford, creating more opportunities for workforce development, increasing the access and affordability of education, and making Colorado one of the ten safest states.
