DENVER - Today, in addition to HB24-1430, 2024-25 Long Appropriations Bill, Governor Polis signed the following bills into law during a ceremony at the State Capitol Building.
- HB24-1403 - Higher Education Support Homeless Youth, sponsored by Representatives Shannon Bird and Emily Sirota, and Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Jeff Bridges.
- HB24-1421 - Modifying Public Safety Program Funding, Sponsored by Representatives Shannon Bird and Rick Taggart, and Senators Jeff Bridges and Rachel Zenzinger.
Governor Polis also signed the following bills into law administratively.
- HB24-1012 - Front Range Passenger Rail District Efficiency, sponsored by Representatives Tisha Mauro and Andrew Boesenecker, and Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Cleave Simpson. Governor Polis released the following statement upon signing the bill.
- “Front Range Passenger Rail is the future of clean transportation for Coloradans, getting cars off the road, protecting our air quality, and saving people time and money. This legislation ensures that the Board of Directors has the tools it needs to provide Coloradans with the high-quality service they deserve,” said Governor Polis.
