DENVER - Governor Jared Polis today reiterated the importance of all Coloradans voting in the upcoming election and discussed the safety and security of Colorado’s gold standard elections system. The Governor was joined by Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera, Secretary of State Jena Griswold, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, Denver Clerk, and Recorder Paul Lopez, and Senator Julie Gonzales.

DENVER - U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a $6.3 million dollar ReConnect award to Emery Telecommunications & Video, Inc for Colorado to deploy fiber-to-the-premises network connecting 1,638 people, 91 farms, 52 businesses, three fire stations and two post offices to high-speed broadband internet, covering over 206 square miles in the counties of North Dolores, South Dolores, South San Miguel, Egnar-North, East Dove Creek, and Lewis, Colorado. This award will help transform an area of Colorado that is virtually a broadband desert due to rugged terrain and sparse population.

DENVER - Governor Jared Polis received a flu shot today and encouraged all Coloradans to get theirs. Gov. Polis was joined by former Broncos player and Ring of Famer Billy Thompson, Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland, Rockies mascot Dinger, Broncos mascot Miles, Broncos cheerleaders and Denver Health staff.

DENVER - Gov. Jared Polis and Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenberg have submitted additional comments to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on the Interim Final Rule related to the establishment of a Domestic Hemp Production Program.
