DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis signed three bills into law during signing ceremonies: 

DENVER - Governor Polis took action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

STATEWIDE- Three new Revitalizing Main Streets grants were awarded this week to the Town of Fraser, Town of New Castle, Town of Buena Vista. This brings the total Revitalizing Main Streets grant awards to 104 projects statewide and growing. Awarded projects span the entire state, from Denver and Boulder to Hugo and Limon to Frisco and Rifle. A full list of recipients is available here. Highlights include numerous projects facilitating safe pedestrian access to outdoor dining, improved lighting, sidewalk repair, incorporating “parklets” into streetscapes, and much more.

DENVER - Governor Polis announced the winner of the second $1 million Colorado Comeback Cash Vaccine Drawing. Stephanie Ward of Littleton is the latest Coloradan to win the drawing.

Governor Polis extended an Executive Order temporarily suspending certain regulatory statutes due to the presence of COVID-19. 

TRINIDAD - Today, Governor Polis announced the first five $50,000 winners of Colorado’s Comeback Cash Scholarship Drawing. Governor Polis was joined by Dr. Angie Paccione, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.

Governor Polis announced that 12 of Colorado’s counties have passed President Joe Biden’s goal to have 70% of the eligible population vaccinated with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Independence Day, July 4. This includes Denver County, the state’s most populous county.
