    Gov. Polis Statement on Notice of Reinsurance Waiver for Colorado

    DENVER — On Wednesday, June 5, the Division of Insurance, part of the Department of Regulatory Agencies, received notice from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that Colorado’s application for a 1332 waiver to establish a reinsurance program has undergone a preliminary review and was determined to be complete. Gov. Jared Polis applauded the decision and issued the following statement:

    Gov. Polis appoints interim District Attorney in 11th Judicial District

    DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis today announced the appointment of Kaitlin Brianne Turner of Cañon City as the interim District Attorney in the 11th Judicial District. Her appointment is occasioned by the resignation of Molly Chilson, and is effective Saturday, June 8, 2019.

    Gov. Polis appoints new district court judges in the 17th Judicial District

    DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis today announced three new appointments to the 17th Judicial District Court. The Governor appointed Rayna Gokli McIntyre to fill a vacancy occasioned by the appointment of the Honorable Jaclyn Brown to the Colorado Court of Appeals; he appointed Patrick H. Pugh to fill a vacancy occasioned by the retirement of the Honorable F. Michael Goodbee; and he appointed Jeffrey Allen Smith to fill a vacancy occasioned by the retirement of the Honorable Patrick T. Murphy.
