DENVER — Today, Governor Polis released a statement following reports that President Biden plans to extend the pause on student loan debt until later this summer.  Governor Polis urged President Biden to extend the pause on student loans as part of the Polis Administration’s commitment to save people money.

DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis signed five bills into law, including the Reproductive Health Equity Act during a signing ceremony.

DENVER — Today, Colorado launched an auction of the rights for 22 different official state license plate configurations with cannabis-themed phrases including 420, HASH, EDIBLE, THC, and CBD. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Colorado Disability Funding Committee and will be used to fund grants for disability application assistance as well as new and innovative programs increasing quality of life and independence of Coloradans with disabilities.

EDWARDS — Today, Governor Jared Polis highlighted the Polis administration’s vision for affordable and reliable housing during visits to Vail, Avon, and Edwards. The Governor was joined by local officials to discuss transformative opportunities to leverage state stimulus and federal American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) dollars to meet Colorado’s housing needs, make housing more affordable in mountain communities and across the state, and ensure Coloradans can thrive.

DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis urged Congress to immediately invest in supplemental COVID-19 funding to secure enough booster vaccine doses for all Americans and invest in variant-specific vaccines or a pan-COVID vaccine protecting against a range of variants should the science and data demonstrate the need, purchase greater quantities of COVID-19 therapeutic treatments, including oral antivirals to achieve universal test-to-treat, and secure funding to continue the federal HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program for testing, vaccines and treatments past the April 5 designated sunset date.
