Governor Polis joined CDOT, state and local officials on Sunday at the ceremonial groundbreaking for the I-25/Exit 11 Interchange Improvement project

LAS ANIMAS COUNTY – Governor Jared Polis along with CDOT’s Executive Director Shoshana Lew and local and state officials gathered for the ceremonial groundbreaking at the Trinidad Port of Entry yesterday to celebrate the start of construction of the Interstate 25, Exit 11 Interchange Improvement project. Trinidad Mayor Phil Rico, Colorado State Patrol Colonel Mathew Packard and Executive Director of the Division of Natural Resources Dan Gibbs also spoke at the event.

Today is Child Tax Credit Day in Colorado, Families Receiving Tax Relief & Saving Money

DENVER- Today, eligible Colorado families with children will begin receiving their first monthly payment under the recently expanded federal Child Tax Credit. Governor Polis declared in a proclamation that today is Child Tax Credit Day in Colorado. About 630,000 families representing 88% of children in Colorado will start receiving monthly Child Tax Credit (CTC) payments as a result of a new federal law.
