DENVER - Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced today the launch of the Cannabis Business Office, housed within the Business Support and Rural Prosperity division.

DENVER - Colorado is home to a world-class Olympic training facility and today Governor Jared Polis sent his best wishes and congratulations to Colorado’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they head to compete in the XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo. More than 32 Colorado athletes are set to compete in the Olympics, representing the U.S. in sports including cycling, gymnastics, rowing, sport climbing, taekwondo, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling. 

DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis provided an update on the COVID-19 pandemic and the state’s efforts to get more Coloradans vaccinated. DENVER - Governor Polis and the Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI), part of the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), released preliminary information about the health insurance plans and premiums for 2022, for the individual market (meaning health insurance plans for people who don’t get their insurance from an employer) and the small group market (for small businesses with 2-100 employees).

Denver – Governor Polis will honor Joe Ellis and the Denver Broncos with the Community Enrichment Award at the Mizel Institute Annual Event on September 1st, 2021 at Empower Field at Mile High. Joe Ellis is the president and CEO of the Denver Broncos Football Club. The Mizel Institute Community Enrichment Award is presented annually to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the community and worked to significantly enhance the lives of others. Previous recipients include Senator John Hickenlooper, Mayor Michael B. Hancock, Governor William & First Lady Frances Owens, Governor Roy Romer, Chancellor Daniel Ritchie, Richard L. Monfort, John Elway, Pat Bowlen and Peter H. Coors, among many others.
