A network of partners with expertise in serving rural, minority-owned, and immigrant-owned businesses has been established to work with businesses across the state to access loans and funding that can help them take steps to grow their businesses.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis announced a panel to review applications and recommend finalists for the appointment of the interim District Attorney for the 7th Judicial District (Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel counties). The vacancy for District Attorney in the 7th Judicial District was created by the resignation of District Attorney Seth Ryan, effective October 31, 2024.

DENVER – Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced the preliminary selection of three recipients of Proposition 123 Equity program funding. These funds will provide investment capital for low- and middle-income multifamily affordable rental housing projects, supporting the creation of an estimated 292 affordable housing units. Each of these projects is also a key component to regional economic development plans poised to bring new revenue into Colorado, create jobs and revitalize communities.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Andrew J. Hayden as the District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District. This appointment is effective Saturday, October 5, 2024, and fills a vacancy created by the resignation of District Attorney Joshua Vogel.

BOULDER - Colorado Governor Jared Polis joined with state officials from the Colorado Department of Natural Resources and Colorado State Forest Service to celebrate the extension of an important agreement with the US Forest Service on Shared Stewardship of lands in Colorado and highlight the progress made to reduce the impact of wildland fires in highly susceptible communities and on critical infrastructure.
