DENVER — Today, the Polis-Primavera administration launched a Star Wars-themed license plate auction to benefit the Colorado Disability Funding Committee. Aspiring Jedis, Mandalorians, and members of Colorado’s Star Wars fandom have an opportunity to bid for the rights to 14 official Colorado license plate configurations. Bidding starts at $100 and features Star Wars-themed phrases including MRVADER, BOBA, FETT, MYXWING, and OB1WAN. The online auction starts at 8am MT and runs through Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m. MT. All proceeds will support the Colorado Disability Funding Committee, which provides grants to support disability application assistance and programs that provide Coloradans with disabilities the resources they need to thrive.

DENVER — This afternoon, families who applied in the first round of Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado will receive an email from the state letting them know which provider they matched with and the next steps for enrollment. In total, 24,743 families who applied in the first application round (91.5 percent) were matched with one of the five providers they selected in their application, with 22,087 families of 4-year-olds being matched with their top choice.
