DENVER — The Polis administration and the Colorado Department of Early Childhood recently opened the registration process for providers to participate in Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado, the state-funded high-quality, voluntary mixed delivery preschool program available to every Colorado child in the year before they are eligible to enter kindergarten.

DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment announced that Colorado’s unemployment rate declined in November to 3.5%. Colorado’s unemployment rate remains below the national unemployment rate of 3.7%. Colorado’s strong labor market added 4,300 good-paying jobs in November in industries including education and health services, financial activities, and professional and business services, and job growth continues to outpace the U.S.
